Bridge Closure

The Township of Black River – Matheson has been getting many calls about the status of the Pine Rd W Bridge.

Please note that this bridge has been determined to be unsafe to use. The bridge will be re-evaluated in the next few weeks.

The bridge is also located on an unmaintained road. A decision on the future of this bridge will not be made until the proper inspection has been completed.

In the interim, do not attempt to cross the bridge or remove the barriers.

Dog Licenses & Building Permits

Dog tags expire on December 31^st of each year and must be renewed at the beginning of each year.

Tags now cost $20.00 for all dogs. If you are picking up your dog tag after Feb 28. The cost will be $30.00
